BNB Casino Payment Troubleshooting: Reading a Missing Deposit

Three bars in gold, slate and sand, one per step of a transfer

A deposit that has not appeared is one of a handful of things, and they look the same from the casino’s side of the screen: nothing credited. They are not the same from the chain’s side, and the chain is where the answer is.

We do not promise that any of them can be fixed. Several operators say they generally cannot, and this note repeats that without softening it.

Why has my BNB deposit not appeared?

There are four usual causes. The transfer may still be waiting for the number of confirmations the cashier requires. It may have been below the minimum. It may have gone out on a different network from the one the cashier watches. Or it may have been sent to a wrong or outdated address. Only the first resolves on its own.

The way to tell them apart is the transaction record. Every send has a hash that your wallet shows, and a block explorer will tell you whether the transfer is pending, confirmed or never existed. A pending transfer is waiting. A confirmed one that the casino has not credited is either below a floor or on a chain the casino does not watch, and the explorer you used to look it up is itself a clue.

Can you reverse a BEP-20 deposit sent to the wrong network?

Not by yourself, and a blockchain transaction has no reversal. What exists, where it exists, is an operator’s willingness to look for funds that sit at an address it controls. If you sent BNB over Ethereum to an address that the operator generated for BNB Smart Chain, the same key opens that address on Ethereum. In principle the operator can reach it; in practice it often will not.

The operators we read are direct about this. Rollbit says funds are generally unrecoverable if sent via the wrong network and invites you to reach its support team if you are unsure before you send. Duelbits lists failed deposits and irretrievable or unrecoverable funds among the outcomes of using an unsupported network. Roobet says a coin or token it does not accept will result in that cryptocurrency being lost and the account not credited. Stake puts the preventive version: send coins through their corresponding blockchain networks.

Contact support anyway if it happens, and do it with the transaction hash and the network you used. Whether anything comes of it is up to the operator, and we have no knowledge of how any of them acts.

How do you find out which chain holds the transfer?

Paste the address you sent to into both explorers, BscScan and Etherscan. The look-alike address that caused the trouble is also what makes this easy: both pages open. One of them will show the balance or the incoming transaction, and that is the chain the money is on.

If the transfer shows on the explorer for the chain the cashier does not watch, you have found the cause. If it shows nowhere, check the address character by character against what the cashier displayed, and then check whether the wallet reports the transaction as sent at all. A transaction that failed in the wallet is a different story, and you will be able to see a hash only for one that was broadcast.

What if the deposit is just late?

Then it is waiting on the operator’s policy. BetFury is a good example of how easily timings are mixed up: its documentation says a deposit is credited automatically and that in rare cases it may take 24 to 72 hours, while its front page says withdrawals can take up to 24 to 72 hours because a risk department audits each transaction by hand. The numbers match and the stages do not. A delay on the way in and a queue on the way out are different things.

Roobet’s help page speaks of confirmations on deposits, and Sportsbet.io’s says three, both about deposits only. None of those figures describe a withdrawal, and none should be used to judge one.

What should you send to support?

The account name, the coin, the network you used, the amount, the destination address as shown in the cashier, the transaction hash, and a screenshot of the explorer page. A report that includes the hash can be checked in a minute; one that does not may take days to get started.

Do not share a recovery phrase or a private key with anyone, under any circumstances. No operator needs them to look for a deposit.

Troubleshooting questions

Is a pending deposit lost?
Not necessarily. It may be waiting for the cashier’s required confirmations. The explorer shows whether it is pending or confirmed.
Can support get my money back from the wrong network?
That depends on the operator. Several say funds sent over the wrong network are generally unrecoverable.
What should I never send to support?
A recovery phrase or a private key. Nobody legitimate needs either to trace a deposit.
