BNB at Cloudbet: One Address Pattern for Two Networks

Cloudbet is the operator that makes our argument for us. Its fee page carries a configuration that the page’s own software uses, and in that configuration the check applied to a BNB Smart Chain deposit address is identical, character for character, to the one applied to an Ethereum address.

It is also one of only three operators here that name the network for BNB, and the only one that puts both minimums in a form we could read at source.

Does Cloudbet accept BNB, and on which network?

Yes. The transaction fees page lists BNB with the network “BNB Smart Chain”, and the configuration inside the same page marks it as the default and only route for that coin. That configuration also names BscScan as the explorer for BNB addresses and transactions.

We took the figures from that configuration, not from the table drawn on screen. The drawn table has five columns, currency, network, minimum withdrawal, deposit fee and withdrawal fee, and it is easy to misread when the layout shifts. The configuration is plainer, and it is what the page’s own software runs on.

What are Cloudbet’s minimums for BNB?

In that configuration the minimum deposit for BNB is 0.0001 and the minimum withdrawal is 0.001. The same entry holds a list of increments, 0.001, 0.01, 0.05 and 0.1, which are bet steps and not minimums; a reader skimming for numbers can easily take one of them for a floor. They are not one.

The figures come from the fee page, which shows no date, so we cannot say how fresh they are. Treat them as the state of that page when we read it and confirm in the cashier before sending, since an operator can change a minimum without telling anyone.

The page also says Cloudbet does not charge deposit fees, and that for each withdrawal a flat fee is paid by users to cover the transaction costs of moving the cryptocurrency out of the account, with rates determined by the blockchain network and subject to fluctuation. We print no withdrawal fee in coin, because it will have moved by the time you read this.

Why is Cloudbet’s address data the best illustration of the problem?

Each route in the configuration carries an address pattern, a rule saying what a valid deposit address looks like. For Ethereum the rule is a 0x followed by forty hexadecimal characters. For BNB Smart Chain the rule is exactly the same. The software that checks an address pasted into the deposit screen therefore accepts the same string for both routes, as it should, because the string is the same kind of string.

The network is a separate field in the same configuration, and it is a label the software uses to decide which chain to watch. Nothing in the address supplies it. That is the whole of our argument, shown in the operator’s own data.

Cloudbet’s data goes one step further. Ether is offered over four routes: Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Base. On BNB Smart Chain, ether is a token with its own contract address, so the same network can carry both the native BNB and an asset called ETH. The name of the coin and the name of the network are different pieces of information, and a deposit needs both.

What does this mean for a BNB deposit at Cloudbet?

The cashier will ask you to choose a coin and then a network. For BNB the network on offer is BNB Smart Chain, and that is the one your wallet needs to be set to. The pattern check will not object if it is not.

Where the page leaves us short is the question of what Cloudbet does with a deposit that arrives over a different chain. Its support article on depositing says to use the tokens and networks supported on Cloudbet and that it is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect information provided. That is a statement about liability, not a procedure, and we leave it at that.

Where this was read: cloudbet.com, the crypto transaction fees page, read from the configuration embedded in its source, and the support article on depositing crypto, which shows an update in August 2026. The fee page shows no date.

Cloudbet and BNB, briefly

What network does Cloudbet use for BNB?
BNB Smart Chain, according to the data on its fee page, which also names BscScan as the explorer.
Are the increments in the data minimum deposits?
No. The increments are bet steps. The minimums are separate fields: 0.0001 for deposits and 0.001 for withdrawals when we read the page.
